I know there’s much that I don’t know
And so to tell you what I know
Is impossible, you know –
Oh, but maybe you don’t know...
How do I know what you don’t know?
If I tell you you’ll say “No!
I knew that thing - didn’t you know
The stuff I know and I don’t know?”
Very tricky this, you know,
There’s lots of things that we all know
There’s lots more stuff that we don’t know
We all don’t know what we don’t know...
How to find out? I do not know.
Makes me think that ...
Confucius is often credited with saying “True wisdom is knowing what you don't know”. Certainly knowing what you don't know is the first stage in a process of knowing.
